A commitment ceremony is worth considering, especially if you want to have an exquisite memory in Bali, the island of the gods. A commitment ceremony can be conducted in Bali without any legal or religious notification. This type of ceremony suits couples wishing to renew their vows or are seeking an everlasting commitment. When conducting a commitment ceremony wedding, a lay official should be present. A Government Registrar or Religious Official is not involved in a commitment ceremony.
During a commitment ceremony, the couple announce their intentions in their own words before an audience of attending friends and family members. It is a time for couples to convey their deepest feelings, appreciation, respect, adoration and desires. Finally a declaration of commitment is made by proclaiming plans to stay together until the end of time. An English speaking Celebrant can be provided on request. After the ceremony, the couple will receive a Certificate of Commitment issued by the Celebrant.
During the commitment ceremony, the couple will follow a sequence of proceedings including a greeting followed by vows of promise. Often on the agenda, there are readings about love or a favourite piece of music. The couple may choose a reading such as a poem, passage of literature, popular quote, pop song, love letter or other personal writing. Then rings are exchanged to seal the union. |
